- Saturday, April 10: Get to campus early for the 9 a.m. parade, about 13 minutes away, and park before the crowds. Spend the rest of the day at Family Weekend events. In the evening, come back to the backyard for the fire pit, cornhole and pizza from the backyard oven.

Getting to campus
It's about 5.5 miles to the center of campus, roughly 13 minutes without traffic. With a parade on Saturday morning, expect closed roads and busy lots, so allow extra time and check Texas A&M's parade details once they're posted. The house has parking for 4 cars.
Food nearby
Downtown Bryan's locally owned restaurants are a 10-minute walk away. If you'd rather cook a home meal your student will remember, the H-E-B on N. Texas Ave. is about 5 minutes away, and the house has a full kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. On Saturday morning, The Farmers' Market in Brazos County is open from 8 a.m. to noon at Midtown Park in Bryan.
