If your student ordered their Aggie Ring between Aug 14 and Aug 31, Ring Day is Friday, Nov 6, 2026, at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. That evening is also First Friday in Downtown Bryan, a free street festival that runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Howdy Home is a 10-minute walk from it. You can get the ring in the morning and celebrate downtown that night without having to drive.

What's confirmed and what isn't yet
The Association of Former Students has confirmed the date. It says the full November schedule, with time blocks, parking and shuttles, will be posted after the October Ring Day ends on Oct 10. We'll add the times here once they're posted. For the October Ring Day, the busy days had no parking at the Alumni Center and ran shuttles from the West Campus Garage, so plan on the same setup for November until the details are out.
A weekend plan
- Thursday, Nov 5: Arrive and check in after 4 p.m. with the keypad. Arriving the night before keeps Ring Day morning calm.
- Friday, Nov 6: Go to Ring Day at the Alumni Center, about 13 minutes from the house. Come back for photos in the backyard, then walk to First Friday for live music, local vendors and shops that stay open late.
- Saturday, Nov 7: The Aggies play at South Carolina, and the official schedule lists it as an afternoon game. Watch it on the 65" TV, or make it a slow morning before the drive home. Checkout is at 11 a.m., and there are no checkout chores.
Getting to the Alumni Center
It's about 5.8 miles, roughly 13 minutes without traffic. The West Campus Garage, where the October shuttles leave from, is about 12 minutes away. The house has parking for 4 cars. On First Friday, Main Street and Bryan Avenue close to traffic, so leave the cars at the house and walk.
Food nearby
First Friday is the easiest dinner plan. Downtown Bryan's restaurants and bars stay open late, and it's all a 10-minute walk. For a family dinner at the house, Kroger on Boonville Road is about 6 minutes away, and the backyard has a propane grill with a pizza oven and a fire pit.
