How the noon-kickoff weekend works
- Friday, Oct 16: Check in after 4 p.m. with the keypad. Walk 10 minutes to Downtown Bryan for dinner, then get to bed at a reasonable hour.
- Saturday morning: Make coffee with the Keurig and have breakfast at the house, then head out early. Entries open 90 minutes before kickoff, at 10:30 a.m. Public lots and the free shuttles start well before that.
- Saturday evening: You'll be back at the house before dark. Light the fire pit, play cornhole and make pizzas in the backyard pizza oven, and watch the night SEC games on the 65" TV.
- Sunday, Oct 18: Check out by 11 a.m., with no checkout chores.
Getting to Kyle Field and parking
Kyle Field is about 5.5 miles away, roughly 13 minutes without traffic. Give yourself much more time on game day. Texas A&M lists limited pay-on-arrival public parking on campus and free game-day shuttles from select lots, from 3 hours before kickoff until 1 hour after. The City of Bryan's free shuttle runs for this game too, from the Roy Kelly Parking Garage downtown, about an 8-minute walk from the house. The house fits 4 cars (3 in the driveway and 1 on the street out front). Bring a clear bag, since Kyle Field follows the SEC's 12-1-1 policy.
Also on campus this fall
Texas A&M turns 150 this year. Its exhibit "Here for Good: Celebrating 150 Years of Texas A&M University" is on display in the J. Wayne Stark Galleries in the Memorial Student Center through May 16, 2027. It's an easy stop before or after the game.

For tailgate food and drinks, the H-E-B on N. Texas Ave. is about 5 minutes away by car. Downtown Bryan's locally owned restaurants and bars, including The Proudest Monkey for burgers and tacos, are an easy 10-minute walk on Friday or Saturday night.
