Updated Oct 2, 2026
The Texas Cornhole League's Signature Series #2 comes to Legends Event Center for 3 days, Thursday through Saturday, Oct 22–24, 2026. Legends lists it from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A 3-day event is a lot of hotel nights. Howdy Home gives you a whole house about 7 minutes from Legends, and it even has a cornhole set in the fenced backyard for practice.

Practice where you stay
Most rentals don't have room to warm up. Howdy Home's fenced backyard has a cornhole set, plus a fire pit, outdoor dining and a propane grill with a pizza oven. Set up for a few practice rounds after check-in, then go over your bracket by the fire after each day.
A 3-day plan
- Thursday, Oct 22: Day one starts at 8 a.m. at Legends. Check in after 4 p.m. with the keypad and get a few practice rounds in before dark.
- Friday, Oct 23 and Saturday, Oct 24: It's a 7-minute drive each morning. Between rounds, the house is close enough for a real lunch.
- Saturday, Oct 24: The Farmers' Market in Brazos County is open from 8 a.m. to noon at Midtown Park in Bryan, close to Legends. The Aggies play at Alabama that day, so you can watch on the 65" TV after the event.
- Sunday, Oct 25: Check out by 11 a.m., with no checkout chores.
Same weekend: Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo
The Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo runs Friday through Sunday, Oct 23–25, 2026, at the Brazos County Expo Complex (5827 Leonard Rd., Bryan), about 13 minutes from the house. Rodeo performances start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, and the youth livestock show runs all weekend. If part of your group isn't throwing, or you want a night out after the bracket, it's an easy evening plan. Tickets and the full schedule are on the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo site.
Getting to Legends Event Center
It's 2533 Midtown Park Blvd., about 2.5 miles from the house, roughly 7 minutes by car. There's parking for 4 cars at the house (3 in the driveway and 1 on the street), so a few teams' vehicles fit.
Food nearby
Kroger on Boonville Road is about 6 minutes away for breakfast and snacks for the day. The Proudest Monkey on Main Street is a quick burger-and-taco dinner. Downtown Bryan's locally owned restaurants and bars are about a 10-minute walk from the house, so nobody has to drive after a long day of throwing.
Why Howdy Home

- It has a 4.99 rating from 179 reviews and is an Airbnb Guest Favorite. Guests often mention the quiet street and the backyard.
